The number one priority for
every Volunteer in the Little League Program should be Safety.
Creating a safe environment for the children and all the
volunteers should be first and foremost in everything we do.
Many rules and regulations that have been established by Little
League Baseball Inc. cover safety of the game itself. A good
Safety Plan and Common Sense is a must for all Local Leagues,
Board's and Volunteers. To view or download a list of the most
common published rules and regulations covering safety

Little League Child Protection Program
All local Little Leagues are now required to conduct background checks
on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons,
volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league
and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams.
Individuals are also required to complete and submit a Little League
Volunteer Application to their local league.
